A historic garden between Fes el-Bali and Fes el-Jdid, restored and reopened to the public in the early 2010s. Its pools and channels are fed by the waters of the Fes river.

The story

Between Fes el-Bali and Fes el-Jdid, the pools of Jnan Sbil hold the coolness of the river. JNAN SBIL would like to capture what water does to plants: leaves after watering, the blossoms of the orange trees, the damp earth of the walks.

The Jnan Sbil garden, its pools, its planted walks and the waters of the Fes river running through them.
